It's called ginger spice:
Drink a glass of this juice before lunch to maintain energy.

Ingredients:


  • 10 oz carrots
































  • 2 oz fennel
















































  • 3 oz celelry
















































  • 1' gingerrrot
















































1 tbsp Spirulina (optional) (available at whole foods or at a health store). Caution: it changes the color of your drink to a dark green color.
































































































Juice the ingredients in a juicer and serve. Add spirulina which is an optional ingredient but it contains phenylalanine which acta as an appetite suppressant.




































































































Loosing weight with a sensible balanced diet and regular exercise may help you lose weight more gradually but it will be more likely to stay off.

  • Do a one day detox:

  1. Replace the unhealthy fats with the healthy fats. Use olive or canola oil instead of saturated fats like butter or margrine. When it comes to heart health there are good fats and bad fats. And one of the fats you want to eliminate are saturated fats that are found in meats and full fat dairy products. The Salad bar is a really easy place to do this where you replace the unhealthy fats with more healhy fats. One choice you can make use avocados in your salad instead of blue cheese. Replace bacon with almonds (monounsaturated fats) for the crunch. Choose olive oil and vinegar dressing instead of creamy dressing.

























  2. Add fibre to your diet. When you juice you do remove most of the fibre from your fruits and vegetables. You could get creative and use that fibre in different recipes. Choose 100% whole grain products over those made with refined flour. Switching to 100% whole grain bread may be a challenge for some people. Its good to try different alternatives of whole grain bread like the Indian chapati or whole grain pita bread.

























  3. Boost your calcium and magnesium intake:Increasing calcuim intake helps loosing weight and more importantly loosing fat. Food sources of Calcium include dairy products, green leafy vegetables and fish like salmon and sardines. It is also important to have sufficient magnesium intake to help in Calcium








































































  • Visit your local farmers market once a week:

Try visiting your local farmers markets or your organic food stores to shop around for some delicious produce.









































































  • Don't Confuse Hunger with Thirst: Often times when you have hunger pangs you may be thirsty and not hungry. Have a glass of water and then decide if you want to get a snack.








































































































Try not to think of being on a diet, just try to make substitutions to avoid eating the unhealthy foods. Also if you do indulge or fall of the wagon which may happen, just get back to the plan. Its not about being rigid and getting disappointed but more about seeing encouraging results and living healthier.
































































































Keep in mind that, before you start this juicing for weight loss program or any other weight loss program, you must consult your doctor. This is especially important if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, nursing or have any illness especially diabetes.
