How to fight a cold with tea



You will need these following ingredients to make this easy tea, you may already have all these ingredients in your kitchen and you will love it.. so go try it out now !!

1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp honey
1 green tea bag
1 teaspoon of lemon (optional)
pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Preperation

Wash the ginger. Peel the ginger and slice it thinly, in small pieces.





Boil 1 drinking cup of water and add the grated ginger to the boiling water. Let it steep in the boiling water for 5-8 minutes (or to preferred strength). Strain the ginger pieces through a tea strainer.




Pour the boiling brew over a hot green tea bag and steep for at least 2 to 4 minutes. Feel free to use any other blend that you prefer instead of green tea.




Add a approximately one tablespoon of honey or until it is pleasantly sweet for your taste levels. You can add a teaspoon of lemon or optionally a pinch of cayenne pepper if you have heavy sinus congestion. Cayenne is valued in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine.





Your delicious hot cuppa is ready to serve. This excellently flavored tea is soothing whether you are sick or not. It will help you clear sinuses, reduce throat irritation and dryness. Ginger has healing properties, studies have shown that it aids in fighting digestion disorders, sore throat, arthritis, nausea and diarrhea.
